An obligatory passage

for those who stay in the Vendée !

Crossing the passage of the Gois on foot, by bike or by car is not without danger. You will only have to respect the low tide times.

Don’t worry, if you are trapped by the rising water, there are a few “perches” along the passage. All you have to do is wait for the sea to recede and enjoy the landscape…

Fishing on foot

During the high tides, the Gois passage sees hundreds of fishermen on foot. On your own or with your family, come and enjoy shellfishing: clams, cockles or oysters will fill your basket. Enjoy your stay at Camping near the Passage du Gois to practice this activity !
